Confirmed Attendance:

Simon CallowThe acclaimed actor and writer Simon Callow will attend the opening event of the conference on the 19th October which is an exhibition and information event. Professor Andrews, Director of the Dementia Services Development Centre said:

"We are delighted that Simon is able to join us at this important event. Our conference will begin by us sharing time and information with the people who matter; those affected by dementia and their carers. This free event places people with dementia and their carers at the heart of our conference. Simon has accompanied his mother on her journey through dementia. He has brought comfort to those who have been privileged to hear and read his words about their experiences as mother and son. I cannot think of anyone more fitting to support us at the start of this major international event"
